Recently retired 2013, I decided to pick up an old hobby I never really had time to develop, CGI on Cinema 4D However when I found out how much it would cost to upgrade my old version, I had a rethink and decided to learn Blender and spend the budget on building a machine specifically to run it.
Building the machine was the easy part, works fine. Blender I find is, until you get on top of it, like taking an elephant through a bone china car wash but I stuck at it and now I feel just about ready to begin.
At this time I am mostly concentrating on still images and I have already blundered into one on-going issue, render engines:
For the moment and for the purpose of learning, I have concentrated on the Blender Internal, I have reservations about Cycles GPU memory limitations so as and when I need to move to a more developed renderer, one thing at a time.

Doubts & Possibilities
I'm not sure about Lucy Lynd. I am quite sure about the idea, the character, but I'm not sure that what I've done with her – gets there.
A month ago I published the first draft here, and even at the time I had my doubts now after a month of tweaking I've come full circle and you'd need a microscope to see the differences.

You know how it is, "Events dear Boy" as one of our politicians once said. Anyhow much delayed I'm about to post. The "Disappearing Lady" Lucy Lynn but well last minute tweaking. Hell this has been going on for a month now, I'm just going to do it.
I'll add the saga of how I got from there to here and why I still haven't got where I was intending to go as soon as I can.

ttobserve asked me why I felt compelled to change the Topology of Augustus Slope (As 00114):
It was the learning curve, I wanted to understand how topology works and I couldn't get the look I wanted without putting in extra geometry and then it still had a sort of Makehuman “look” around the nose mouth and eyes. So in the end I used Snap and Mirror to put the geometry where I wanted it, There is a lot of stuff on Blender Portal about that and YouTube Maya stuff was useful too, as far as topology goes it was where to put it I was interested in not
